I NEED a condo on Maui!

Postby Spanky » Sun 28 Mar 2010 20:17

I NEED a condo on Maui.

I do.

If you've never been there, you need one, too. Just take my word for it. Notice that I do not say that I "want" one...I NEED one.

But Maui real estate ...that's some of the most expensive property...anywhere, I'd guess.

A condo at Kapalua? Probably, like, $700,000 or so...and that's probably not even oceanfront.

So, I'm thinking, how am I going to make this happen? I'm not getting any younger....

And then, it hit me...

Those people over at Lymenet will shell it out, give it up, for just about any damn scam that comes along.

So, I tell the LymeNUTs that it is:

... the IDSA, the CDC, the NIH, Steere, Wormser, Klempner, Shapiro, Weinstein, McSweegan, the entire healthcare industry, insurance companies, BIG PHARMA, the Council on Foreign Relations (don't ask me), the New York Times (why not), the US News and World Report (again, don't ask me)...the ALDF (them, especially)...and if I forgot any...

...I can always add them later...

...and all of these guys are stopping me from getting this condo on Maui BECAUSE I HAVE LYME DISEASE.

And then, I open a Paypal account and say, please send money...after all, A LymeNUT and his money are soon parted.

And I am thinking, what a great idea...and then, I realize that Jones and his lawyers have already been there and done that.

"As a result, I must ask you once again to make a donation as soon as possible to my legal defense fund, in whatever amount that your circumstances will permit. I am painfully aware of the many hardships already endured by so many in the Lyme community, and it troubles me deeply to have to ask you to do this once again. However, it will be impossible for me to meet these demands without your support".

Damn.

Always a day late...missed it by that much.

(You probably can guess what this is...but still, a very beautiful rendition):

We ALL need a condo on Maui. It is a chronic disease - Lack of Maui disease. We have the same symptoms, therefore, we have the same disease and we need the same treatment. I know this to be true. The Lack of Maui disease specialists told me so. They believe lots of people suffer from this disease. I paid them a lot of money for this diagnosis, so I know they put a lot of thought and effort into it. The problem is how to fund the treatment. Perhaps if I ask fellow Lack of Maui sufferers, they will send me money to pay for my airline flights to Maui. Nothing wrong with that logic.

I almost forgot - we musn't tell people about those that help us get to Maui. We must protect them. They only help out of love, thoughtfulness and generosity. If we loose them, no one will ever be able to go to Maui again. Only Lack of Maui sufferers will understand.

Apparently, there are some new findings out, so we have to plan our trips carefully. We can only go when the moon is not full. The Lack of Maui disease will flare during full moon's - it will cause terrible reactions.

Parasite/worm treatment should be ongoing for a long, long time. As you have die off of bacteria and especially release of toxic heavy metals which are always, always a part of the total healing process, parasites can be found again and again. Don't think they sit happily gathered in one little corner waiting for your amunition to come and get them. They are everywhere, including the brain.

Especially with energetic testing, they can be found and treated when necessary.

Likewise mycotoxins appear again and again caused by releases of toxic metals and die-off of fungi and mold.

All this is what makes treatment of Lyme and the always accompanying neurotoxins so difficult and
time consuming - for years. It also takes some of the parasite pharma meds. And they have to be repeated.

Right now, we are in full moon and they are copulating and producing offspring.

LymeHystorian: It is a chronic disease - Lack of Maui disease.

LOL. I actually told a doctor one time that I didn't think there was anything wrong with me that a few weeks on Maui wouldn't cure, and that if he would just write me a prescription, I would be on my way. He said something like he didn't think the insurance company would like that. I told him that he shouldn't take any c**p from them, that he was the doctor, and that I would send him a postcard. No sense of humor.

I am having a lot of fun being silly, here...but there is an underlying serious side to this, too.

If the so-called "leaders" keep going to the well all the time, well, there's going to someday be no water left in that well.

And they should ask themselves, every time that they stick their hands out (which seems to be constantly) whether it is absolutely essential or not. And in this case, whether there is ANY purpose left in throwing more money at this Jones thing. Money that comes from the pockets of people whose interests they claim to represent.

I think that newly diagnosed patients are particularly vulnerable to this type of pressure...and they have enough trouble, as it is. Just taking money from them and pissing it down a rabbit hole is adding insult to injury.

Look...if they keep at it, they're going to drain the lifeblood out of their checkbooks, and there won't be anything more left for the scam artists to suck-up who push the latest cure-all on them...

...and that ship that's sailing in the video?...that's my condo hopes sailing off into the sunset, too.

I am having fun pointing out some the the absurdity in all this hysteria. I agree with the serious side of this mess. My guess is the requests for more money will not stop. As I mentioned the other day, they will need a bigger tincup to pass around at the rate they are going. Maybe they will find one. I read that they have declared this a 'war'.

I'm done donating my money, my insurance company money and anyone else's to the Lymeland hysteria. My Maui condo hopes sailed off years ago. That's ok, it wouldn't have worked out anyway. I like sitting on the beach at night under a full moon and can't do that - too many worms I'm told.

I see many Lymeland actions and treatments as discrediting - the majority are embarrassing themselves whether they realize it or not. It is very sad and unfortunate that this whole mess is happening. Many of them are doing things that are seriously compromising their health and their families. They are forfeiting their lives in the pursuit of Lyme. They have become their own worst enemy.

"They are everywhere, including the brain." so says GiGi-but she said it a lot louder-and she should know.

I actually watched a Monsters within us-or some such show-the other day- and a man did have parasistes in his brain- a parasite that he could only have gotten by swimming in a lake in Africa.
Which makes me think, upon reflection- that they are not everywhere- just don't go near the water in Africa and you'll be okay. Good news.

I don't know what I need anymore. Time and money to travel stateside in a luxury car . :woohoo:

I see an opening here for a public announcement for some unsolicitated advice. When things get so complicated and there are so many differences of opinion and we are all sick and tired of being sick and tired and broke - then STOP. Stop everything. Stop the chaos. Stop running in all directions trying to listen to so many different people.

Start listening to yourself for a change. Listen to your body. Try a non-religious Mindfulness course (MBSR) - learn to trust your own instincts. Perhaps in your illness you have become vulnerable to the suggestions of others. Just because someone is more educated, more experienced, more financially secure, more successful, more outspoken, more liked, more followed, does not mean that they know what is best for YOU.

Take a break from the world - shut the TV off, the radio off, the doctors off, the LymeLand voices off, your friends off - try it. Trust your own sense of awareness and focus on what you know about you. Maybe it is not the worms coming out on the full moon that is making you feel ill - maybe it is something else that happens during that same timeframe that you are not considering. Yes, some people do have worms, but worms are not the only answer.

My advice: Stop listening to everyone else's advice.

"LymeHystorian"

My advice: Stop listening to everyone else's advice.

Well, okay, then...but that means that I shouldn't listen to what you just said about not listening to what you just said. :D

And the condo thing?

Well, yeah, you may need one, too...but I need one MORE.

Let's just be clear about that.

I not only had Lyme pre-natal...I had it in a previous life.
