I was able to find information about Dr. Edward McSweegen by using Google. If you need to contact him, I would be happy to share with you (via private message) the information I was able to find.

If, however, your intention is to portray anyone in a negative light or to stir up bad feelings, I must at least try to discourage you from doing so. It won't help anyone.

According to my data you have now posted 110 attachments, in total taking up a few dozen megabytes. These attachments take up extra resources: disk space and bandwidth. Therefore the attachments should be posted with some restraint: not unnecessarily and not have an unnecessarily large file size.

This implies among others not adding something as an attachment when it's freely available elsewhere on the internet, and keeping images small in view size and file size. On this board one should strive a maximum image width of 640 pixels and smaller when appropriate. Further, images can often be compressed with hardly any noticable loss, which also helps keeping the file size down.

In this case you have posted an image of a small part of an article that is:

1. freely available on the internet: http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2003/06/ ... 0528.shtml
2. way too large in size: 1570 x 750 pixels (w x h)
3. way too large in file size: 374.81 KiB

This is not acceptable.

Besides, the article has already been posted on this board in the following topic:

I have to ask you to remove the attachment and use the above as guidelines for future attachments.

I agree with Rita. Why are you so concerned, except to perhaps make "mischief". You must have better things to do in your basement -- like creating more of those artifacts.

Thank you for your post to me.
I will abide by your recommendations to conserve bandwidth
by using links to Cloud storage sites for large files.

I believe that Images are educational and contribute a unique
dimension to topics posted on this forum. The need toconserve space
is important, and I will use links to accomplish this process.

I still do not know the answer to my question, as I was not in intrenet contact
for several years during my illness.

The question which I asked was prompted by an internet search in connection
with Federal administration past and present of funds for Lyme Disease research.

If CBS network news was libelous in its report, I believe that appropriate legal lremedies
against that network should be initiated.

I have no further interest in this thread.

I have sent you a private message with updated information for Edward McSweegen.

He is indeed alive, but no longer assigned to projects having to do with Lyme disease.

My apologies for implying that you might have had anything but good intentions for creating this thread.
