Re: Western Blot Cross-reactivity

Did a brief search here and couldn't find this posted already so here it is. Unfortunately, this isn't the original article which includes tables. The original copy of the article (http://www.bjbs-online.org/article.asp?id=222) is in a membership-only site. http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qa38...

Re: attn CURIOUSER

That's good enough a reason for me too. Will continue the search and let you know if/when my contacts find anything. Will also check up on the rumor of someone who deals in antique (Victorian) taxidermy. Might be able to find something through them.

Re: MY new policy for replying to posts

Dingo On Toast? Divine Open Toed (shoes)? Devious Octogenarian Triplets? Ok, last guess: Department of Transportation? -------------- Fin, I have the word out to a few contacts re: bat. No word back yet. However, now that I've heard the rest of the story, not sure I want to help him. Eh. Will figure...

Re: MY new policy for replying to posts

Fin, Sorry, no real bats or spiders. Just toys, figures (including a 23-oz larger-than-life sterling silver tarantula), jewelry, or other items with the imagery on them. I do have a few contacts who deal in the odd and unusual, including various dead animal bits, and will check with them for vampire...

Re: Haven't been around much

Cobby, it's a muddle, isn't it? Part of me is waiting for the other shoe to drop, i.e. relapse. While I was grateful for a lyme dx at first, it was largely because I could finally put a name on whateveritwas that was causing all this. After 7 months on some seriously heavy meds, some things got wors...

Re: Haven't been around much

Hi Claudia! :) I never had a bulls-eye rash in spite of numerous tick bites over the years. This also feeds into my doubts of the lyme&co dx. That being said, I'm not writing it off completely. Instead, I'm looking into other possible causes for my symptoms. It could be lyme; it could be something c...

Haven't been around much

Not that I'm a huge contributor to this site, or any other for that matter. Just wanted to let folks know what I've been up to lately. Ran out of money for the lyme doc. Since I'd been wanting to take a break from the meds for awhile to see what my baseline was anyway, the timing was right. I'd also...
