Re: Lyme Disease May Be Sexually Transmitted, Study Suggests

It seems that endangered species genome banks are concerned about sexual transmission as well. Perhaps you will find more information in the references in this study: http://link.springer.com/article/10.1007%2Fs10344-010-0413-x Potential impact of diseases transmissible by sperm on the establishment...

Re: Elevated Anti-neuronal Antibody Titers in Lyme Disease?

My son could be the poster child for Lyme disease induced PANS/PITANDS. My daughter as well. Her results on the same test are pretty much the same as your son's. Some results are a bit higher, some, esp Cam Kinase2, were lower. However she did have choreiform movements and convulsions. She describe...

Re: Elevated Anti-neuronal Antibody Titers in Lyme Disease?

This is called “molecular mimicry” and allows the strep bacteria to evade detection for a time. However, the molecules on the strep bacteria are eventually recognized as foreign to the body and the child’s immune system reacts to them by producing antibodies. Isn't this assuming one has a relativel...

Re: Structure of Biofilms of Borrelia Lecture link

Dr. MacDonald, thank you very much for all of your posts and sharing your ideas with us. I very rarely post here anymore as all too often threads end up being hijacked and end up way off topic and die. It is very frustrating.

So I applaud you and others who do persevere despite the attacks.
