Re: Disulfiram: A Test of Symptom Reduction Among Patients With Previously Treated Lyme Disease

Still recruiting for the study... meanwhile there are literally thousands of people taking Disulfiram on the advice of other patients in a Facebook Group. :bonk:

Re: Could I potentially have Lyme disease?

Paul, it might be worth posting the name of the doctor you've been referred to so you can see if any of us have had experiences with her/her. The opinions you will get here on the subject of "LLMDs" are generally quite varied, but I find that a good lyme-literate doctor that you can trust is crucial...

Re: Morgellon's/Unexplained Dermopathy IS related to Lyme?

I can dig up the reference, sorry it's taken me this long to notice your question. It might have been something said by Ginger Savely, though, so I'm not sure if you'd see it as credible anyways. Re: ILADS conference Europe, 27 May 2011, Augsburg, Germany

Call it what you want, but Morgellon's/Unexplained Dermopathy IS related to Lyme. From what I've seen, most patients with "Morgellon's" (in quotes because who knows how they are being diagnosed) are also infected with Bb. We're still waiting to hear from the CDC study on Morgellon's, and who knows w...

Re: LymeNUT of the Year

So for the past week I've been, when using the public bathroom at my school. Jesus god, I hope she's not a teacher. :o And by the way, the saga continues. Watch as sparkle7 suggests to a potential Lyme patient that the serious psychiatric issues she is experiencing may be due to "electromagnetic ha...

Speaking as a new member here, I am thankful to have a place like this, which exists outside of the strict confines opposed on the members of LymeNet. Yes, the admin here should offer an explanation as to why the other thread was deleted, or even admit that deleting the thread was a mistake and hypo...

Re: Doubts About Connection Between XMRV and Human Disease

I don't think this is the end for XMRV. If the XMRV that places like the Whittemore Peterson Institute are finding is indeed due to contamination, why are ME/CFS patients testing positive for it 70% of the time while only 7% of healthy controls test positive? http://www.wpinstitute.org/ http://www.w...
