Re: Sleeper cells: Stringent response & persistence in BB enzootic cycle
Interesting! This, from Valhalla (Wormser's institution) and the CDC? I haven't read it yet but will try to, soon.

Re: Dr. Cameron
A few things: I don't think the "Science Based Medicine" (SBM) people are very bright. They seem to think they can know what is good science and what is questionable without reading the papers that present the actual evidence. They just trust authority. That will work to keep a mid- to low-level MD ...

Re: False and Misleading Information about Lyme Disease.
Duncan, Duncan, Duncan. Not unique? How many patients do you know that were not tested and treated for at least 6 years or more after exposure to tick bite, especially in an endemic area? Hardly a common occurrence I would imagine. Still, the "evidence" you present is circumstantial. You have a way...

Re: Semi-literate hillbilly attacks ALDF
What an odd mix. Though I think I have seen those things put together before, so I guess it's a meme, or part of an ideology. Maybe from the so-called Skeptics? Don't you want to add homeopathy and Big Foot to your list? ;) It's not too late to clean up and refine your mental file drawers and proces...

Re: Ceftriaxone Pulse Dosing Fails to Eradicate Biofilm-Like Bb Persisters
You have no evidence to support what you say, Duncan. None. It's all idle speculation -- sort of like a fairy tale. I think you and Lorima need to say the things you say to convince yourselves, rather than me. But, that's OK. I understand. I think you should just keep repeating that, Henry. Though ...

Re: Ceftriaxone Pulse Dosing Fails to Eradicate Biofilm-Like Bb Persisters
Projection, maybe? If I were you, I would question your detractors' knowledge, not our confidence. I'm quite certain the IDSA is wrong, and their literature on LD verges on scientific misconduct, from reading that literature. And I'm confident enough that combination oral antibiotics are the most re...
