Re: Patient-Formulated Lyme Disease Survey Draft

I would leave the sub-categories in the one diagnostics document, maybe with the exception of the co-infections section, as I feel that will get really long and could be big enough to warrant being it's own doc. Other than that, I would say stick to LHCTom's method of defining the section and sub-ca...

Re: Patient-Formulated Lyme Disease Survey Draft

Can I motion to break off the coinfection section to it's own category?

Also, how are we defining the demographics section? Are we just sticking to the demographics of the person, or does that include questions that related to location etc?

University/Lyme/Tick Group Contacts Needed!

Hi all, I am part of a newly formed community group in my town that is going to be pursuing a few initiatives around Lyme Disease on tick reduction, and education/awareness. One of our first initiatives is to design a pilot study for one of our most active parks to reduce the tick population. I am l...

Re: Jasmine Auriculatum

Hmmm, I’ll have to recommend this to my mom as well. She had some type of weird “autoimmune” “guillian-barre” like illness, which in my mind wasn’t autoimmune at all because she had no increased levels of antibodies/protein. From the sounds of it (I was very little at the time) sounds much more like...

Re: Culture of the Entire Mouse to Determine Persistance of

Amen. LHCTom and Duncan. Studies like this are really doing a disservice to the public and will likely lead to more people with chronic infections. Plus what a waste of study money, why can't you put that money toward good use of figuring out why the bacteria get hunkered down in some people? What a...

Re: Patient-Formulated Lyme Disease Survey Draft

I'd leave the diagnostics doc as one big doc for now as we are still moving around a lot of the Qs quite a bit.

I'm not a terribly good person for words. I'll think about how to name this Lyme project anyways and see if I cna come up with anything. It's a project and survey at the same time.

I actually felt BETTER after the herx! I have never ever felt BETTER after one of those herxes before! This is exactly how I felt with the Byron White herb formulations A-L and A-BART. Same type of dosing them up one drop at a time twice a day. Only went as fast I could manage as it flares your sym...

Re: Patient-Formulated Lyme Disease Survey Draft

So for example for the diagnostics doc, here's a proposed order for the types of questions: Lyme diagnosis Qs Tick bite Qs Rash Qs Lyme lab test Qs Bloodwork Qs Lyme Arthritis Qs Lyme Carditis Qs Neuroborreliosis Qs Immunology Qs Coinfection Qs Or would it make more sense for the lyme lab test Qs to...

Re: Patient-Formulated Lyme Disease Survey Draft

I think keeping it short and sweet in the inside of the top of each document should be enough. It's like how programmers comment their code and explain what each part of the code is designed to do. It helps keep things organized and everyone working on it in the same page. LHCTom, engineering - high...
