Re: LymeInfo's "Lyme Files" are gone

(Yes, that's right: Even though researchers have a tradition of sharing abstracts with each other openly, some publishing companies consider putting just a mere abstract online elsewhere to be a violation of copyright.) My best guess is it had to do with what Camp Other said. Maybe some of use that...

Re: Patient-Formulated Lyme Disease Survey Draft

I forgot to add, Camp Other and Duncan, I do agree with you guys. This is a huge undertaking and everyone will need to pace yourself or else we're going to get burned out. I'm going to be in and out because my town is starting a new Lyme community group and they need a lot of help getting organized....

Re: Patient-Formulated Lyme Disease Survey Draft

It would help to keep a section at the front of the document that defines some agreements on some of these things and let that evolve. The comments are good but they tend to be more specific issues and not global. I find it difficult to just add questions without my own sense of the global goal/for...

The Mayday Project Protests the IDSA - October 11th

The Mayday Project will be protesting the IDSA during their annual conference in Philadelphia, PA. Please join us in letting the IDSA know that we won't back down until they change their treatment guidelines for Lyme patients. The event will take place October 11, 2014 from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm at the ...

Re: Patient-Formulated Lyme Disease Survey Draft

Ok, so I at least grouped all the tick bite Qs together. I also started tabbing in the follow on questions to "if yes" so that they would be easier to keep together. I went through and reformatted and deleted the extra Qs and organized the diagnostics section a bit: https://docs.google.com/document/...

Re: Patient-Formulated Lyme Disease Survey Draft

Where should the tick bite Qs go? In demographics or in diagnostics?

Re: Patient-Formulated Lyme Disease Survey Draft

Sometimes the Forum is not as busy as other times. When news happens, someone will post about it, or open a new thread with an issue they have thought of, and conversations will ensue. Like Lyme itself, discussions here are more or less relapsing remitting, i.e., they undergo and ebb an flow. 1+ LO...

Re: Patient-Formulated Lyme Disease Survey Draft

Ok all, Velvetmagnetta and I are making some progress on the formatting. She's figured out that we can use the automatic list feature to create line numbers. It's a little messy, and there are some rules, but this should work. It gives sub numbers for the answer choices that are tabbed in once, but ...

Re: Patient-Formulated Lyme Disease Survey Draft

Ok, check out the formatting I started to implement on the Demographics and Miscellaneous docs. How does that formatting look to everyone? Keep it or change?

I set header 1 as size 14 font bold and for the normal text as size 12. For the answers to each question, I tabbed them in one.
