On another note, has anyone crushed a tick & viewed it under a microscope? How could we have neglected, that in a BLOOD BORNE disease, the blood would not play a vital role? One in which insects consume the most of when parasitising & hence should instigate our further suspicion and scrutiny? Surely, the lo­­­nger one remains infected the better the chances of finding them...

Can we make the assumption that if it is found in the CSF, that it then MAY be in other tissues & that IT MUST be in the blood (within the RBC's & possibly in the WBC's)? It might be better to gather a collection of all confirmed Lyme cases with rashes that are atypical. I saw one such article & attempt at one point.
