Re: Geographic Expansion of Lyme disease in Michigan, 2000-2014
So now you are diagnosing people that you don't know and from 2000 years ago! You should quit your day job; your talent for diagnosing/undiagnosing people you don't know, have never seen, is amazing. But there is some competition in this area, if you don't mind the company you are keeping.

Re: Geographic Expansion of Lyme disease in Michigan, 2000-2014
I am doubting this is a road to damascus moment for Auwaeter. He does his best to prevent accurate diagnosis, so the idea that you can improve surveillance without accurate testing is baloney. And Hickling has published that lyme is not a problem in the south, contradicting everything that has been ...

Re: Semi-literate hillbilly attacks ALDF
Well, I didn't bother to read that ALDF criticism, as it is surely right. But if there were any grammar mistakes, then this results from the effects of a brain infection. There are other reasons besides brain infection for the nasty trolls on this website. There was an interesting article recently a...

Re: Surprising mechanism of acid reflux damage identified by researchers
But of course we would not want to bother finding out what is causing the inflammation, and that will definitely have long term implications.
Guess they have not been told that it is lack of stomach acid that may produce GERD, and the fix is adding it. Or at least that is what some people think.

This looks very good. But I can't find it in any of the journal's table of contents for this year's issues so far.

This is not actually surprising, considering why syphilis does to bone.

Re: [Tick-borne neuroinfections: Clinical characteristics, immunopathogenesis, and new pharmacotherapeutic strategies]
Which is more than is being done in the USA. I've been to Russia, years ago. Maybe time for a return trip. However, about ten years ago now, a Russian lyme patient came to the US, in hopes of getting diagnosed/treated for lyme disease. Went to a big name place, the Cleveland Clinic, where they took ...

Re: Revival of hyperthermia treatment for Lyme disease?
Well, I don't know about that. A young American doctor died doing this Bachynsky treatment because it was poorly supervised in an Italian nursing home with a language barrier. Another patient, a woman, was cured. Don't have information on any of the other patients. Not sure I would have the nerve to...

Re: Borrelia miyamotoi Polymerase Chain Reaction in Rhode Island: A Case Series
Yeah, and what did all these sick people really have if not tickborne diseases? And what happened to them after they got no treatment and no apparent diagnosis. No information. Given the brush off? Told their fever was imagined? Oh wait, they must have had their temps taken. Yes, you have a fever, b...
