Re: Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome & LD
I agree. Recently had my first consistent episodes of this, minus the tachycardia, and it is disappearing with more aggressive treatment for lyme.

Re: Oral Immunization with OspC Does Not Prevent Tick-Borne Borrelia burgdorferi Infection
How about an easy to understand short statement of what this says? My lyme brain cannot comprehend these long seemingly repetitious papers. The previous, withdrawn, vacccine was OSP A. And it had problems. So, now are we to assume OSP C also will not work? Or is there variation in these proteins dep...

Re: Ms vs Lyme Differential Diagnosis
I would question the spinal tap. It is invasive and does not often find lyme even when the patient does have it. Not sure why, with that history and those test results you would still be questioning the diagnosis. Babesia does not always hit hard, can lurk and produce less obvious symptoms. In my ca...

Re: IDSA Lyme Guidelines (2006) WITHDRAWN from NGC
The question is who really enforces this? Is anyone actually reading all these guidelines to see if they conform? There are a heck of a lot of guidelines.

Re: Novel U.S.A. pathogenic B. burgdorferi sensu lato species - Borrelia Mayonii
Why is Mayo doing PCR instead of two tier testing? Didn't the CDC tell us PCR not a good lyme test because of contamination? Maybe they pick and choose which labs they describe as contaminated. Too many positives....got to be contamination.

Re: Gut Flora yourself!!
The open biome people say it is not necessary to find your own donor, that unrelated and strangers are screened by them and actions taken to prevent other germs from being transplanted too. Of course, nothing is 100%, but this pill form is less invasive than the colonscopy/enema do it yourself metho...

It jumped out at me too, but not in a sublime way. We need bread, he offers us a stone.

Why even bother to reply to trolls like these two? He who would try to teach a pig to dance will fail and will annoy the pig.
