Re: Bullying Borrelia

I am talking about chronic symptoms. And yes, when there is a multiple infection the definition should be changed but it's certainly not an easy task. I don't see anything irrational in this way of thinking. And good luck with treating late Bb infection accompanied with other tbds with 4 weeks of lo...

Re: Bullying Borrelia

I know what you mean and I agree with that. Nevertheless, the problem of multiple tickborne infections in patients is not surprising: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15606643 Guidelines for the diagnosis of tick-borne bacterial diseases in Europe. "Since the identification of Borrelia burgdorferi...

Re: Bullying Borrelia

In all of these discussions I see one nonsense that is repeated all the time and only adds to the confusion. When talking about tickborne diseases why authors of various articles speak only about Bb? I hope that we can agree at least on one thing - ticks carry many microbes, and many of these microb...

Re: Stale jokes

I don't like terms LymeLand and LymeNut. They are good for those who want to ridicule tbd. And, on a side note, to make things fair I think that term LymeNuts should also mean those who constantly deny that these diseases are chronic.

Re: LNE Forum Policy and much much more

Bagge, my response was to Spanky. Re: Relative Risk blog - this is just another one sided opinion and, as I understand, mostly about the situation in the USA. Not every doctor who treats tbds longterm is irrational or involved in doubtful matters. Moreover, you can see similar rhetoric on this blog ...

Re: LNE Forum Policy and much much more

What I said in these quotations is still valid. And you can't compare my posts, which express my opinion, sometimes strong but adequate, about people who don't respect different opinions of those who were harmed by official medicine in the field of tbds, with your plain rudeness that appear so often...

Re: LNE Forum Policy and much much more

You just continue with your arrogant style, it would be surprising if you change your tone. I am not playing any "backseat moderator", so would like to ask you not to say so. What I just wanted to say is that other people have the same observations about you. That's all. I don't know - maybe you hav...

Re: LNE Forum Policy and much much more

I think there is a serious communication problem, because others and I we have already gave you examples of your annoying behavior. The problem is you don't consider these examples to be rude. Frequent usage of rude words, even indirectly, IS rude. Obsessively repeating your point of view in an arro...

Re: LNE Forum Policy and much much more

I hope everyone sees how ridiculous is what you say. For people with a normal sense of tact, constant using of above mentioned words is enough to consider it a rudness, even when used "only" indirectly. Moreover I don't see any other user on this forum who uses same arrogant rhetoric as you do. I'm ...

Re: LNE Forum Policy and much much more

Bagge - if you want to be objective don't forget mentioning those, who were harmed (misdiagnosed, not treated, under-treated, or falsely informed) by the ID specialsts, as this is rather large gruop of people. Any harm being done to patients should be criticized, doesn't metter if it comes from ID s...
