Roxythromycin+bactrim is rather poor for coinfections.
Maybe it works little bit for bartonella.
But generally I don't know how effective this combo is.
Roxythromycin is tolerated OK - similar to other macrolides.

Re: Bart??
My friend takes Rifampin+roxy + pulsing tinidazole (already for about 4 months) for Bart and she has good results with it.

Re: Bart??
Hi Boomerang, Rifampin interacts with many medications. Rifampin also decreases fluoroquinolones efficacy. http://www.rxlist.com/cgi/generic/rifampin_ad.htm Dr.B. said in his bartonella presentation: - "Fluoroquinolones are by far the best antibiotics for BLO" - "Levaquin is far better than Cipro" -...

Re: Sarah Olson: Recovery with IV Rocephin*)!*)!!
Sarah - Thank you. That is absolutely what I wanted to know about your success story  This is quite amazing for me - because you had two coinfections - bart and babs - but despite this, Rocephin suddenly helped you so much in 6th month (if I remember right). This is inspiring for me, becaus...

Re: Sarah Olson: Recovery with IV Rocephin*)!*)!!
Hello Sarah, can I ask you for something? Could you write shortly in order which antibiotics did you take and for how long: From the beginning until today. Your topic is little bit too long for me to read everything  (previously I wanted to print it - but it is more than 60 pages :) Thank's...

hypercoagulation
Hi! :D What is your experience with hypercoagulation? I want to search for the lab and run some tests for it. I am thinking about heparin OR rechts-regulat. From what I have searched, rechts-regulat seems to be the best natural option to address hypercoagulation. Dr. Klinghardt says about rechts-reg...

Re: Bartonella question
Cave, sure, but the problem is that I don't know how to do it.
It is in pdf file format but I can't copy the text.
Also - I can't give a link to it.
Do you know how to copy this text or change format or whatever?
If so - post it please.
P.S. I will send you a lot more articles about bartonella.

>Have you retested for bartonella, to determine that it truly is a continuing factor? Good question. No, I have not retested. But I don't want to stop abx, and chances for false-negative while on abx are too big to rely on tests. >Are you in any situation in which you could be in regular exposure to...

Bartonella question
Hi! This is my first post here, but perhaps some of you know me from Lymenet. I decided to write here, because I search for help and opinions. I am from Poland. Here is my problem. I have chronic Lyme and I test positive for Bb, bartonella and chlamydia pneumoniae. I have symptoms since march 2004. ...
