Re: Guidelines for Diagnosis and Treatment German Borreliosi
Guys, apart from who is right and who is not, take a break from Lymenet Europe for a few weeks, come back later, re-read your posts and you will see how unnecessary and obsessive those argues are.

Re: Romney vows to take on LD "epidemic" (U.S.)
I have read Lymenet USA today and saw another interesting post (I hope the author of this post doesn't mind if I copy it here). Very good that politicians are aware of the controversy. The more people know about it, the more it is discussed, the better chances of moving things in right direction (of...

Re: Romney vows to take on LD "epidemic" (U.S.)
Actually, I think it is quite interesting, because this is probably a first time Lyme disease is used in presidental elections "talk". Of course this is just another route to attract voters, but the good thing is that more people will become familiar with the problem of tbd. With respect to those wh...

Re: Romney vows to take on LD "epidemic" (U.S.)
Interesting to see that in the USA Lyme disease became an argument in the presidential election. I have googled articles about Mitt Romney - Lyme disease and unfortunately many of them are full of poor information trying to ridicule seriosuly sick people. It is good to see people's huge solidarity i...

Re: Wandering in the Dark
It looks like chronic TBDs patients have this special "luck" of being left by professionals not only in reality but now also on the Internet.
Henry, maybe you could write from time to time, especially when new topics appear that were not discussed previously?

Re: Retreatment of LD Patients - Biostat Review
Henry - last time I checked I was Elisa igg+ igm- and WB igg- igm-. I agree that it may be not Lyme disease that is problematic any longer for me, but some other(s) TBDs (notice how quickly symptoms relapse, which, I think, is not so characteristic for Bb). Clearly, I respond to antimicrobials.

Re: Retreatment of LD Patients - Biostat Review
If you refer to the sentence "medical work-up negative" I meant things not related to TBDs testing. As to TBDs I had positive WB or ELISA serologies more than once, but none of them ever met criteria of considering positive in 2-step testing proposed by the IDSA. Tests were performed in a reputable ...
