A tragedy, so desperate, so helpless

Re: Lyme Disease May Be Sexually Transmitted, Study Suggests

I agree that this article does not fullfill the criteria for a scientific study as I pointed out this is a pity. In a scientific Journal it would be published as a "note" and not as a study. With only 3 patients examined it does not prove anything. However the question, is Lyme sexual transmissible?...

Re: Lyme Disease May Be Sexually Transmitted, Study Suggests

I am convinced that this transmission route occurs. I have never seen a study when the male is positive what the effect will be on the fetus. My daughter was born with malformations and 8 years after I was diagnosed with Lyme which I had contracted 15 years before during holidays in Easton Conn. I h...

I wrote that the cause can be a long lasting infection I wrote, that most MD's (and patients) donot know that APS can occur in c...

Re: Antiphospholipid antibodies & Chronic LD

This is a serious matter which is unknown with the majority of MD's. Five years ago I spoke with Dr. Stricker about this and he was not aware. In 1998 I got deep veinous thrombosis in my leg. I was treated in hospital and several tesst for a heritable cause were done. Everything was negativ. The MD ...

Re: Reports from BCA (Augsberg) and other European clinics

I know several patients who went there. Mostly a main problem is to stay there for several months to follow therapy. So the common procedure is that they go there for an initial visit for diagnosis (1000-1500 euros)and then there will be contact with patient's family doctor for the prescribed therap...
