Re: Anyone know the latest on the Ceres Nanotrap

nnecker, there is a broader picture when dealing with this situation. A this point, I am not of the opinion that the Ceres test is any better or worse than a Western Blot, C6, etc... My GP strongly suspects, as do I, that I have an infection that is not being fully eradicated, but we are not stupid ...

Re: Anyone know the latest on the Ceres Nanotrap

I am not saying the test is a saviour or useless...the published paper was pretty convincing but Henry has pointed out some legitimate research to the contrary...time will tell I imagine. Myself and my GP are not convinced that a negative from Ceres closes the case. I am the classic of classic Lyme ...

Re: Anyone know the latest on the Ceres Nanotrap

Henry is getting assaulted pretty heavily here for keeping this balanced. Believe me, I am as frustrated as everyone else but dialogue from all and any sides is essential if we really want answers. I was diagnosed and treated after attached tick, unmistakable perfect bullseye rash, followed by class...

Re: PET/CT Scan and Lyme

Very interesting. Thanks.

I hadn't thought of that one yet. Where I live, this will cost a lot of money or I can probably have my GP order one and wait for an extremely long time. I am going to look into it.

Re: A Modest Proposal

Well just catching up here...let that discussion and modest proposal remind me that we still desperately need a new and reliable test for a BB infection. One that will greatly discredit many on both sides of the Lyme divide will be the godsend for patients. In a huge medical "victory" we would see t...

Re: Suggested Treatment plan. Thoughts please ?

wow LHCTom, thanks for a thorough reply. I am too well aware there is no 100% cure yet but I am always looking for something I missed. You and a few other members are very helpful to find what I may have missed. I do really hope to hear more from Lewis and Zhang because it seems the most credible an...

Re: Suggested Treatment plan. Thoughts please ?

To broaden the topic slightly, I am curious what the more knowledgeable members here consider the current standard of treatment for straight up BB infection. Where are we? LHCTom mentioned the cycling of 5 days on/5 off of antibiotics and I have read similar...I read less of the high dose and long t...

Re: Vaccines for Lyme Disease – webinar video

Very interesting video...thanks for posting. I was always looking for news on the Abbott vaccine as I was going to use it for treatment to keep my antibodies high. chroniclyme19 I think u are wanting vaccination as treatment, and to me it sounds like it should work. They discussed many times the cle...

Re: Borrelia burgdorferi persister cells

Yes but this is much better news than reporting they were unable to eradicate them entirely or that they required some esoteric blend of compounds. There is the previously pasted case reports as well as Weintraub and Burrascanno's personal stories of cycling Cefin for cure (not sure how they are to ...
