Re: Public Health Alert as vehicle for advertising

As far as herb quality and the disparity between companies, I really don't think there is any way we can assure the quality control of any herb being harvested in a different country. I don't see the problem: US or EU companies selling herbs can check the planting, harvesting, processing etc. that ...

Re: pubmed ... treatment of nervous system Lyme disease

1. I thought the cyst form of Bb was treated by the so-called "cyst busters" like flagyl which are able to get through the hard outer "shell." Is this not correct? yes, there are cyst busters but those are normally not considered antibiotics; also the mechanism and effetiveness of these cyst buster...

Re: Can vitamin D deficiency be caused by Lyme or antibiotics?

Vitamin D Deficiency Study Raises New Questions About Disease And Supplements Low blood levels of vitamin D have long been associated with disease, and the assumption has been that vitamin D supplements may protect against disease. However, this new research demonstrates that ingested vitamin D is ...

Re: Can vitamin D deficiency be causes by Lyme or antibiotics?

Vitamin D is synthesised in the skin under moderate exposure to ultraviolet-B radiation in sunlight, but can be supplemented through the diet. I am told by doctors that in my country about 10 minutes of exposure a few times a week, of a small part of the skin to normal daylight (not even direct sun...

Re: Public Health Alert as vehicle for advertising

One last thought though---- in these herbs that are 'harvested', packed, shipped and so on in, say the rain forest or at a 'secluded pristine' area---- is there anything like oversight to make sure the happy peasant or laborer has been tested for all the diseases that might be lurking in or on that...

Re: Buhner's (herbs) CV and work experience

Nick, you know what a CV is and you know that's not one. Look what happened though, it started a conversation about Bruhner and his book. Don't you think that's what he wants? yes, I guess he knows it is not a CV and that is exactly why he is writing it down. Also (not specifically answering to you...

Re: Buhner's (herbs) CV and work experience

Buhner is big on the Doctrine of Signatures (plants will resemble what they will treat, for example a plant that looks like hair will treat baldness). yes, but that does not by definition conflict with what I said. The Buhner protocol is based on herbal products that have medically PROVEN to work f...

Re: Cat's Claw

Isn't the stomach's gastric acid, containing mostly hydrochloric acid, by itself enough acid for maximum alkaloid extraction? If not, why? yes it is, but only if you eat very little. To get an idea of what is necessary read about acid extraction in cocaine production ;) When you take a full meal (d...

Re: pubmed ... treatment of nervous system Lyme disease

hilarious, first they say there is no evidence that chronic infection exists, and right after it they say antibiotic therapy does not work for these cases. Severe case of neuroborreliosis if you ask me Perhaps it is, perhaps it is not. It may seem like a contradiction, but it isn't. One could have ...
