Re: Cytokine storm or immunopathology

I wonder if finding a way to control the cytokines without disrupting the immune system too much might be an option in the future, at least for some symptom management...?

Re: Glow in the Dark

LOL ... get the black lights ready for Halloween; who needs glow sticks when you can just go as one?

Re: Someone sent this to me

I'm trying to remember off the top of my head ... it was either Oksi et al. or the Brorson brothers who wrote a few papers on the necropsy of Alzheimer's patients, finding spirochetes in the brain. Anyone else familiar with these studies? I'll try to dig them up....

Re: Long term ceftriaxone for ALS?

TBE, what is that? And Trapper Wasting Disease ... is that another name for co-infections? I know babesia made my body slowly waste away.

I think researchers will definitely find a pathogen connection to many diseases we currently take for granted as autoimmune and/or "of unknown cause."

Re: Be Wary of "Alternative" Health Methods

You can question the doctor, but if he sites his references you're going to have to discredit all of them as well. His references appear to be sound.

Nick, I like your reasoning with the outer surface proteins. Know of any good articles I could read to learn more? 8-)

Re: Long term ceftriaxone for ALS?

I really don't think the IDSA is ignoring the issue of chronic Lyme ... but I'd be willing to bet that they're ignoring some people, for various personal and non-personal reasons. Some of them have chips on their shoulders, but I think some of them are just as eager for the truth as we are.

I think the article is very impressive ... Matrian, where can I get an original copy?
