Re: HCQ can kill intracellular Borrelia in cell culture model

I would like to see more studies done on Plaquenil and TBIs. I really do think it made the difference in my six-month azithromycin therapy.

Re: Lyme disease: a turning point - Stricker, Johnson [10-2007]

so being not of any camp and limiting this to the basis where do YOU stand re: -are TBIs rare or common/ easy to catch or not; easy to cure or not - do long term abx have their place EVER? -shoudl tests or even can today's available tests be relied upon the way IDSA suggests? -its easily diagnosed ...

For example: might people with persistent bartonella have cats, from which they are constantl...

Re: ILADS guidelines not intended to be a standard of care

The way I see it, there does not exist, in any way, two standards of care: IMHO there is one terribly flawed standard of care , and then various other groups that either a) use desperate patients as their personal Guinea pigs, with the understanding that "standard" antibiotic regimens can fail, or b...

Re: Lyme disease: a turning point - Stricker, Johnson [10-2007]

Perhaps it says something about the AG. He has jumped on numerous bandwagons over the years, and has, from what I've read, developed quite a reputation as a result. I wonder if it is smart to state that "two opposing camps have emerged", "One camp is represented by the Infectious Diseases Society o...

Re: TMJ disorder vs Lyme

I developed TMJ pain (couldn't open my mouth beyond 50%) during my first few months of azithromycin, but it resolved on its own and has not recurred. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a direct correlation between some cases of TMJ and Lyme, although I'm sure there are numerous other causes, as we...

Re: Chula Vista duo indicted in fake Lyme disease cure

What the heck does it take to convince the mainstream Lymie that not all that glitters is gold? I cannot believe the following people like this continue to enjoy, even after their sheep skins have been ripped away!
