Re: Immune Evansion/Persistent Infection by B. burgdorferi

From the review paper: As a community-based general medicine physician, I am called upon from time to time to assist patients who definitely have or may have LD. I understand that doctors are divided on how to go about providing such assistance, and that the uncertainty has a tendency to paralyze th...

Re: Immune Evansion/Persistent Infection by B. burgdorferi

Ticksuck: You've made my point exactly. His credentials are indeed the issue; with respect to Lyme disease, he has not established any. Although you may believe whatever you wish, your bias is certainly clear for all to see. I rest my case. Henry: Credentials != Count(Publications * Weight(Publicat...

Re: Immune Evansion/Persistent Infection by B. burgdorferi

Henry : This review, being a review, reports on others research findings. It is irrelevant what other publications the author has authored as long as he has the credentials to analyze the research and has the ability to write properly. The review seem very comprehensive and doesn't limit its source...

Quack, quack, quack. Rather than read through a poorly researched and written review... This review seems (at first glance) to be a much better, more informative and better researched review than this plate full of BS: Common Misconceptions About Lyme Disease ... Do any other similar review of evid...

Re: Validity of the CDC 2-tiered Test for Late Lyme Borrelio

Lorima: There is a rather simple -- and quite obvious-- explanation for .... "by the time they have serious, disabling signs and symptoms, they are no longer considered seropositive by tests designed for extreme specificity among, say, Steere's hyper-immune arthritis patients, which is where the US...

Re: Physicians & Fraud - Patients Don't Know Till It's Too L

Mrs. Bagge, Following your post that inadvertently divulged your identity, I have read some kind of "testimony" apparently from you, written in the early 2000s, that you believed you had Lyme since you were 5 y.o. and that an ILADS doc had saved your life when you were ~40 y.o. You had many praises ...

Re: Bone Marrow Transplant for MS Patients

"In reality we don't know for sure that MS is an autoimmune disease. There are still people who believe it is a virus and other people who believe it is in the genes. So, if it is truly in the genes and doesn't matter what environment you're in and what exposure you have, changing the entire immune...
