Re: Borrelia miyamotoi Seroreactivity and Seropreval. in NE
Miyamotoi... OK! And what about the U.S. test-performances with regard to the Garinii and Afzelii strains of which is asserted that they do not/or do rarely exist in the U.S.A. while studies show that migratory birds can bring them over?

Re: Chronic coinfections in patients diagnosed with chronic
Hi Velvetmagnetta and Camp Other, Thanks for sharing your points of view. As I stated earlier I'm just a simple layperson searching for an answer on the question why we do not recover. The 'lipofection' (or DNA transfection) thing I referred to might be one of the possible causes. I learned about it...

Hi Velvetmagnetta and Camp Other, Thanks for sharing your points of view. As I stated earlier I'm just a simple layperson. So as far as the 'lipofection' subject is concerned, pls. read more about it on the topic mentioned underneath: http://www.lymeneteurope.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=3627 with ...

Re: Lymie in Turkey...
Hey Turkisch Lymie, Don't forget to have yourself tested for co-infections. Borrelia is not the only pathogen transmitted by ticks. By the way, I was on holiday in Bodrum in 2009 and in 2013. In 2009 I began to feel very sick there and in 2013 a waiter of the hotel told me he'd been infected with Le...

Duncan wrote: Camp Other: Yes, yes, yes, and yes. I seem to always be agreeing with what you write, and being annoyed that you write it so well

I considered your writing qualities do pretty much equal those of Camp Other. Now I understand why!
Hope you guys will keep posting.

Re: Lyme Disease and the digestive tract
Thanks Camp Other. That's interesting information. :) Maybe the following topic fits in here: http://www.lymeneteurope.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=5245 As Borrelia (DNA) can be found in urine, maybe it can also be found in feces. And what about the slime in feces? Biofilms?? (If indeed they are, t...

Hi Duncan, Underneath some studies about borrelia and the gastro-intestinal tract (there must be some more but I have to search for them): http://www.lyme.org/journal/journal/vol9s-s02/v9nss-02-bbgi.pdf (Sorry, I can't post the abstract as it's a PDF file) http://www.healthydays.info/gastrointestina...
