Re: OH MY !!!!!

In the end you get a situation like we have now with food in Europe, where the best quality food from small companies disappears from the market or can no longer be sold under the original name, and is replaced by junk food that is endorsed (and often heavily subsidized) by the government. Nick, Wh...

Re: OH MY !!!!!

Why is everybody "OH MYING" so loud? I am French, when I first starting researching Lyme, its treatments and the whole Lyme world, I had to start investigating things that were mainly coming from America. And let me tell you it was a shock! I did a lot of "oh mying" when I started reading most thing...

Re: A critical appraisal of the ILADS and the so-called LLMDs

LE, Are you a plant with an agenda? or are you just set on destroying for the sake of destruction? out of some psychological flaw in your make-up? You admit to feeling COMPELLED to keep going, and you seemed to be on a mission. You constructed your opinion on people based on very flimsy "evidence" a...

Re: A critical appraisal of the ILADS and the so-called LLMDs

I am not against long-term therapy for Lyme, although I do believe long-term therapy for co-infections is a stretch. ...and if you want my opinion this is, at best, a very fluffy statement ! What do you consider to be a "co-infection" that treating long term would be stretching things? From reading...

Re: A critical appraisal of the ILADS and the so-called LLMDs

Nelly, I'm terribly sorry to hear about your trauma, but you're comparing apples to oranges, civil to criminal court. Are you saying that, on top of declining a civil lawsuit, you also did not press charges against your offender in criminal court? Let's mix oranges and oranges for a moment: my ex c...

Re: A critical appraisal of the ILADS and the so-called LLMDs

Again, if these were just smears, the information completely unwarranted and untrue, someone would have been sued by now. Makes me feel a lot better, I feel a lot safer now, so all I have to do is look at who lives where and who does what (for a living) and I'll be able to sort out who's good and w...

Re: Immunomodulation and new therapeutic strategies in LB

Yvonne, I have neutropenia (when i'm not too too bad they are bordeline low, but have been known to go into 3 figure digits at times of crisis). My GP had suggested the use of G-GSF (Filgrastim) but I never used it. Do we know what has happened to the clinical trials that are being referred to at th...

Re: A critical appraisal of the ILADS and the so-called LLMDs

We need to change the mainstream's attitude about the IDSA's guidelines. Unfortunately, the IDSA not going anywhere, so we need to find a way to ... politely convince them that another huge redraft is in order. I somehow think that leaving them a way out without too much loss of face is the way to ...
