Re: Ceftriaxone Pulse Dosing Fails to Eradicate Biofilm-Like Bb Persisters
You're right. It's not rocket science. If they were diagnosed correctly and given IDSA-recommended treatment, they were cured of Lyme disease. So, their symptoms must be caused by something else -- obviously . I love it when Henry reveals how simple-minded his beliefs are. I do think it is worthwhi...

Re: Review: Low-quality of Clinical Evidence Exists when Comparing Antibiotics for the Treatment of LNB
Thanks for collecting and conveying this info, dlf. There does seem to be something odd about the search strategy. There must be some indication in the full text as to why these studies were excluded. Too small? (underpowered, observational, non-RTC, "subjective," nonspecific, etc.) They still shoul...

But one's hopes would be dashed, after reviewing the literature.duncan wrote:One would hope they could at least identify LNB in the US whenever it occurs.

That last paragraph is amusing. Throwing a big juicy bone to the IDSA, ALDF, and European equivalents, after detailing the scarcity and poor quality of the trials on which their policies are based. I guess that's what they have to do to stay "reputable" and "prestigious."

Thanks, I don't need a comment. Your previous actions speak louder than any comment you could make, now.

(i.e., publication in prestigious scientific journals after rigorous peer review). That's the reasonable and normal way of making such an evaluation. Henry, hv, and necker, We've discussed the science many times, and you never understand. You can look back at my previous posts to see how I know the...

Re: Johns Hopkins Awarded $10 Million Cohen Foundation Grant
Henry, this little editing trick is the kind of thing that made me realize early on that there was, and is, something seriously wrong in the mainstream Lyme disease field. You don't even seem to know why it looks sleazy. This kind of thing may go unremarked in some medical, political, or business ci...

Re: Johns Hopkins Awarded $10 Million Cohen Foundation Grant

[Edited to add: As Duncan points out below, Henry went back and edited the comment that prompted my dismissive eye roll, to make it appear that he had said something more substantive. It originally just said "No, you are wrong." What is a reasonable person supposed to do with that?]
