On page http://www.personalconsult.com/articles ... tment.html with page title "Bartonella Expert Specialist-TOP 500-PAGE TEXTBOOK! ILADS Mayo Clinic CDC Treatment Testing Tests Labs Laboratory Fry IGENEX" you can find many superlatives in what appears to be attempts to find the words to describe Schaller, his books and the care he is offering. But there are no words to describe James L. Schaller, MD, MAR, PA, DABPN, DABFM, CMI, CMR, PA.

There are several reviews of Schaller's book "The Diagnosis and Treatment of Bartonella (2 Volumes of FULL Color)" listed on that page. For example one by a certain Troy Marks:
AMAZING RESEARCH. EASY TO READ. 2012 INFO, April 25, 2009

By TROY MARKS, MD "Physician" (Maine (United States)

This author is the leader in Bartonella, Babesia and chronic Lyme disease issues that fail routine doxycycline given for EXACTLY 40,200 minutes (4 weeks) and IV "forever" care.
When even a "physician" states that Schaller is the leader in such Bartonella, Babesia and chronic Lyme disease issues, well then it must be true, right?!

How to Actually Remove Mold Toxins, May 6, 2006
After Dr. Rosen and I co-wrote When Traditional Medicine Fails, Your Guide to Mold Toxins & also Mold Illness Made Simple, it became clear my patients needed a Mold toxin removal book. My patients with mold exposure needed a good "how to" book on fixing mold problems. They needed to know where to go for help; what they could do themselves and how to remove mold toxins without going broke. This book by a master builder and creative expert remediator fills an important need. It gets to the point in a reabable manner. If you have or suspect you have a mold problem, Dr. Rosen will help you from getting hurt by ignorant mold toxin removal.

Thank you, hiker!

Gee, does the ILADS realise with what kind of people they are associating themselves? Two times Schaller is listed here: "Publications by ILADS Members": http://www.ilads.org/lyme_research/lyme ... tions.html

The links on that list actually go to pages on Schaller's site, to information about two of his books on Babesia. The price is $125 each.. for an E-book(!):
IMPORTANT NOTE: The books offered in this bookstore are ONLY E-books, meaning you can buy the book at a marked discount if you buy it as an E-book, download the PDF file and then view or print it using your own computer. A link will be provided at the completion of checkout to download the E-book. All of these E-books are available at a higher price as traditional books on amazon.com. Simply enter the name "James Schaller" in the amazon.com search box and all of the books on this site should be available to you in a hard copy.
BTW: at amazon these books are currently actually cheaper.

Stephen E. Fry also praises Schaller. IMO that doesn't add up to each other's credibility.

I have known Dr. James Schaller for the last year. In that time he has become a friend and colleague. I have become to respect and admire this fantastic person over the last months. He is intensely dedicated to the care and treatment of patients with chronic disease who have not been able to find treatment solutions.

He has phenomenal track record when it come to publications and communicating complex medical concepts to the general layperson. His recent series of publications are outstanding and of great benefit to the community.

James is energetic, hard working, compassionate and a caring physician. He has a great ability to collaborate with his peers and to 'make things happen'.

He is dedicated to the understanding of many illnesses, including flea and tick borne diseases and their treatment. Of great impact is his personal interest in connecting neurological abilities and psychiatric disease with tick and flea borne diseases. I think that Dr. Schaller is a great physician and I am proud to say that he is my colleague.

Stephen E. Fry, MD Scottsdale, Arizona January 2007
You should check out the funny "disclaimer" at the bottom of pages on Schaller's site:
He [Schaller] does not claim to be an expert in anything. He does not claim to be superior, smarter, or more skilled or to have expert qualifications that are superior to other physicians.

Well, he does that through his sock puppets. :bonk: (and affiliates do that for him)

I actually got my hands on one of Schaller´s (MAH) e-books.The one about bartonella. (is there a new one?).Indirectly it gave a lot of information. But when it comes to his cure for bartonella infections one is left in the dark, ofcourse.Has anybody actually found his "cure" anywhere?Or do you still have to buy that from him idrectly?

Review of Troy Marks (Schaller) at amazon.co.uk

I found a review of Troy Marks (Schaller) at amazon.co.uk. Here's yet another 1-star rating and trashing review for a Lyme book not written by himself or one of his associates:

1.0 out of 5 stars WORTHLESS TEATMENTS AND DOSING. 1980'S CARE., 19 Sep 2008
By TROY MARKS, MD "Physician"

Herbs for Lyme and other infections do not help patients as reported by this hypothetical work. I love herbs. This love does not apply to this magic book.
That's a review of the book: Healing Lyme: Natural Prevention and Treatment of Lyme Borreliosis and Its Coinfections (Paperback) by Stephen Harrod Buhner (Author)

edit: added name of book

The alleged "Free Books" section of Schaller's website

Post by Martian » Sun 1 Nov 2009 5:09

I was viewing James Schaller's site personalconsult.com and went to the alleged "Free Books" section, only to find out that most books listed there aren't free at all. Only two books from Schaller are offered for free, but these are for children!

The only other free offering are free files from others: a file published by The Lyme Disease Association of Southeastern Pennsylvania, Burrascano's guidelines version 2005, and 6 files from lymeinfo.net (which is not apparent, contrary to the other files) that are offered as "FREE E-BOOK" without any credit given to LymeInfo (neither to the person who compiled those files).

These are clearly misleading practices. This is all really very very pathetic.

edit: on request removed name of person who compiled the "Lymefiles".
