One more answer to Spankys question (in the post above):

From the first post (in this topic):
Chronic Lyme disease = persistent symptoms associated with Lyme disease after "appropriate" antibiotic treatment, without clinical evidence of persistent Lyme disease.
Edit to add:

If you don't think that the above is correct, then discuss it with Martian.

But, I was instead talking about the difference between the European definition chronic Lyme borreliosis, and the above.

I am asking YOU, Carina...do you think that is correct?

Is that how most of the people in this forum and the IDSA and ILADS use the term?

Do YOU think that is what they mean when they use the expression "chronic Lyme"?

I am not discussing this any more, since you now use those two words that it have been so much problems with in this forum.

LOOK at the topic...this is where it would be appropriate to discuss it.

The question is being asked to see if YOU understand how others have been using the term.

The question is being asked to HELP clear what seems to be confusion on your part.

Now could I PLEASE simply get a reply?

Just answer the question..."yes" or "no"?

Yes or no, please.

Simple question.

Is that how you understand how people here have been using the term or not?
Remember that the US diagnosis chronic Lyme disease is used (at least it has been in this forum) for symptoms that have lasted for a long time =it is the symptoms that are chronic after treatment,
