Chronic USA Lyme-borreliosis ending in Alzheimer's

Post by inmacdonald » Sun 14 Feb 2021 22:20

Longitudinal clinical and pathological study of Chronic Lyme borreliosis progression to Hydrocephalus to dementia to Alzheimer's at autopsy
Alzheimer Plaques visualized by in situ DNA Hybridization with Molecular Beacons specific for Borrelia- a novel histomorphologic application
This 8-year longitudinal study of a man who was diagnosed and treated at the Stony Brook School of Medicine
demonstrates the brain injuries associated with chronic Borrelia burgdorferi infection of the
CerebroSpinal fluid ( confirmed by multiple cerebrospinal fluid Lyme serologies showing
intrathecal antibodies in ELISA and Western Blots) which were associated with
Antibiotic refractory neuroborreliosis, escalating hydrocephalus, escalating Dementia and

Borrelia specific DNA probes for the Flagellin B Open REading Frame Bbo 0147 DNA sequences
produced high signal positive binding results in autopsy tissue sections from the hippocampus.
Biofilms of Borrelia were located inside Amyloid plaques of Alzheimer's disease.
Single borrelia spirochetes were imaged in FISH method DNA probe binding studies of the Hippocampus.

Chronic Borrelia disease is established here.
The linkage of Neuroborreliosis in the hippocampus to Alzheimer's specific tissue pathologies is established here.

Respectfully submitted.
