Dietrich Klinghardt, MD HIGHLIGHTS of hand-outs

Post by CaliforniaLyme » Tue 30 Oct 2007 1:56

Hand outs for the ortho-molecular medicine conference-
from DK MD

Page 3- re Lyme disease

"Today many if not most Amercians are carriers of the infection."

Page 4- indentified as important factors in treatment-

"unhealed ancestral trauma"

Under Component #3

"The immune reactions are largely depending on host factors such as
genetics, prior illnesses, mental-emotional baggage, early childhood
traumatization, current exposure to electromagnetic fields (sleeping
location, use of cell phones, poor wiring in car or home, etc)."

On same page, bottom:

"A very effective and yet simple technique to turn TH1 back on is auto-urine
therapy. ... By passing the clients urine through a micropore filter and
injecting it i.m., the lymphocytes on patrol in the connective tissue are
brought into contact with the antigen and quickly mount a specific and
appropriate immune response. We use 2 ml of filtered urine once weekly for
12 weeks."

SAME PAGE: "We have only rarely observed lasting improvement when course
after course of antibiotics was given. ... We have observed severe, lasting
and unacceptable side effects from this approach (such as tinnitus, kidney
failure, intractable immune system breakdown and others)."

HEY-=- maybe he could testify for the IDSA against Doctor B????

"The Lyme ABC

A. We start with deworming our clients. We often use a simple yet
aggressive seasalt/Vit C protocol (19) which has an independent effect
against the spirochetes also."

If you look up footnote # 19 you find: http://www.lymephotos.com as a reference note

(SARAH NOTE: Hmm, kidney damage from abx= unacceptable so advocate salt/c
protocol for ALL!!!!!!!!!!!)

UNDER DEWORMING SECTION:

"We developed antiparasitic CDs for entrainment of the immune system. The
frequencies were obtained by German physicists by taping the sounds of
microbes in their respective live activity in an underground lab which was
soundproof and electromagnetically completely shielded (6)."

(SARAH NOTE: Lab 257????)

If you look up (6) you find... http://www.neuraltherapy.com (his website)

(10) is http://www.Lymenet.org

(3) is personal experience during residency rotation

(18) is marshallprotocol@yahoogroups.com

GREAT references!!!

LAST PAGE:

"Antibiotics have disappointed in the treatment of Lyme disease as a single
modality. Antibiotics alone with not help us to deal with the coming
plagues."

Good points, Sarah!

This alone makes it hard for me to take dr. Klinghardt serious.

This sounds absurd, doesn't it?

Californie Lyme and Cave 76!!!! Sooo glad to see your names here!!

I'm so relieved to find a place where reason prevails, and challenges are encouraged as productive.

Klinghardt:
Page 3- re Lyme disease

"Today many if not most Amercians are carriers of the infection."

That may be one of the few things that this quack has said that is probably true.

At the 1998 Tick-Born Disease Conference in California Marilyn Barkley, PhD, commented that "the overwhelming majority" of Lyme infected people are asymptomatic.
(Videotaped but not transcribed that I know of.)

In a 2003 paper, Harvey and Salvanto raised the same issue with the implied question of what makes some people more susceptible than others. The question remains unanswered because no focused research has been done yet.

Harvey - ILADS site as a 288 KB file in PDF format.

It's a strange state of affairs because it is widely recognized that symptoms of Bb sl can range from asymptomatic to crippling to fatal but it's for sure that the question won't be answered by the likes of quacky Klinghardt; he is too busy making money by selling urine injections to his gullible patients.

May we all live long enough to see the questioned answered by honest and competent research.

Actually I have to say, in fairness, that these are the Whacko Highlights. The rest of his handouts would probably be interchangeable with many LLMDs except for where he actually endorses teh Lab 257 theory and goes into a spiel about black forest spirochetes being from a research lab or something. The rest of it, 95% was sound, basic LLMD stuff. This was the stuff that wasn't.

The underground lab thing, the music of the spirochetes thing? Kind of scares me. It makes me feel sad for people if they actually believe it.

Again, 95% of what he says is reasonable- that is what makes THIS stuff, which isn't so believable to non-science based folks.

I agree with you, Sarah.

It is too bad since I think he has some innovative ideas but the credibilty factor plays into it.

he is gathering his theory and treatment from many different sources, from solid science to really weird stuff; when reading his website I got the impression that when you ever sign up as a patient with Dr. K you will remain a patient forever ...

The auto-urine therapy sounds very similar to what many bioresonance practitioners are using in Netherlands and Germany (in addition to the 'rifing'); it sounds a bit like homeopathics to me and I doubt it has ever been proven to work for Lyme (but who knows?).

As for the antiparasitic CD with microbe sounds, I cannot believe that people take this serious but well ... apparently many do.

It's looking more and more like a Dr. K. customer support and recruiting forum.

Does every country have a conspiracy theory? Not to say that it isn't possible.

Wouldn't a good bout with food poisoning clean out the pesky colon critters? Or, maybe an Exlax binge?
I spent an hour in Walmart's bathroom the other day, and I don't think there was anything solid left in my body.
