Diffuse Cortical Lewy body Dementia and concurrent Neuroborreliosis - 2 cases -Autopsy

Post by inmacdonald » Thu 28 Jan 2016 17:59

Borrelia burgdorferi proteins are Contained Inside of Lewy Bodies in Diffuse Cortical Lewy Body Dementia {DCLBD} by Immunohistocchemistry

Two Autopsy confirmed case of Dementia caused by Diffuse Cortical Lewy Body Disease
demonstrated Borrelia Burgdorferi Proteins INSIDE of Lewy bodies with Immunohistochemistry [ABACM] Rabbit purified antibodies to
whole cell lysates of Pure Cultures of Borrelia burgdorferi.

Implication:
Borrelia burgdorferi penetrates brain neuronal cells, causes chronic INTRA-NEURONAL INFECTION along the entire neuron from soma to axon to dendrites; ultimately Killing the infected neurons from the Inside/Out.
Lewy bodies marked by Immunohistochemistry develop initially INSIDE the Cytoplasm of infected Neurons, are round and eosinophilic, grow in diameter over time: are Immunoreactive for Ubiquitin, Alpha Synuclein, and borrelia Burgdorferi proteins.
Lewy bodies of large caliber, with concentric rings of eosinophilic color and with central eosinophilic dot-like profile ;imaged within intact neurons are distinct. Lewy bodies separate from live neurons are the carcasses which are remnants of a once living human neuronal cell which underwent penetration of the nerve cell by borrelia burgdorferi [ already documented by Dr. Livengood
and Dr. Gilmore in an in vitro model],with subsequent pan-neuronal borrelia infection of the entire neuron, neuronal death, and release of Lewy bodies [Large, Eosinophilic/ or basophilic in H&E stains, laminated, with or without central clearing, some containing discrete central dot-like structures] remain in the brain parenchymal spaces, as a marker of Diffuse Cortical Lewy Body Dementia.

Very interesting. Lewy Body dementia was the post-mortem diagnosis given for Robin Williams after his suicide, wasn't it? I wonder if the pathologist looked closely for Bb.
