I graduated H.S with honors and got early entrance into University when I was younger. I had to quit because I couldn't control the panic attacks and lost my ability to concentrate. I fought it as long as I could and sought therapy for it but it never went away.

Thanks for reading if you made it this far. The pain sounds to others like nerve damage...it's in every cell of my body. They don't do nerve tests here other than an EMG I specially asked for. The doc looked like had to learn how to use the machine while teaching a student. They didn't use needles which I've read they are supposed to. They have a basic free, lyme test here which I took, I also want to be tested for zoonotic diseases.

Does this sound like Lyme or something else? What tests should I ask for? Should I just get treated without the tests? What else could this be? I don't have MS...I don't think they did that test awhile ago.

It certainly could be lyme, but you have such a strange history that other things could be involved instead, or too. See tropical medicine doc maybe for animal related diseases?

Don't know what country you are in, which will make a difference with testing. Have you had no testing at all?

Also, if you were tickbitten, they can give you other pathogens as well as lyme. Such as babesiosis, anaplasmosis, bartonella, some nasty virus, etc.

We only have one test for lyme here and it's so unreliable they tell me I shouldn't bother taking it. The better tests aren't coveverovered by health care where I live and regular doctors know practically nothing about it. The test is about 650..I'm going to go take it tho now I'm too sick not to try. I'm still researching zoonotic diseases no luck so far.

No test for lyme is perfect, although some are better than others. What a good lyme doc does is go by history and symptoms, with test results for support but not the make or break on diagnosis.

What that tells you is that you could spend that money, have a negative result, and still have lyme. If I were you, I would try for coinfection(s) known to be in your country and see what happens there. Might be easier to get tested for something else, and if positive, then you know you were tickbitten and could have multiple pathogens. The oxygen starvation could be babesiosis, which is a parasite and takes a different treatment than bacteria. It is like malaria and takes those meds. Many people have gotten more than pathogen from the bite, so if you have babesia, you probably have one or more others.

If the doctors there don't know anything about lyme, how do you plan to get treated? This really requires a lyme specialist. Many people have to travel to get treated.

And you sound like you are in very bad shape. When I read your list of symptoms, every one of them could be from tickborne diseases. The only ones that puzzled me were the black joints and the bruising on your arms.

Salt craving will help the orthostatic hypotension. Take magnesium before bedtime to help with the cramps and muscle tremors. Probiotics will help with the diarrhea. You should also start easing off carbohydrates like white bread, white potatoes, etc. And no alcohol.
