I see a research poster, but where is the published study?

Published = indexed by DOI number
The F1000 research site passes the Publication to
The DOI web indexing service

When a formal DOI indexing number is assigned,
The work is officially Published.

DOI: 10.7940/f1000research.1113565.1

If a Creative Commons Copyright is established, as it is for my published work
The work has equal status with ant other work also referenced with a unique DOI number

I had send an e-mail to F1000Research with questions regarding all this, and these are the answers I got:
F1000Research wrote:Please find below the responses to your questions:

1. No posters do not have equal status to published studies (see question 2 for why)
2. No they do not count as published scientific literature as they do not undergo peer review.
3. No assigning a DOI does not give a poster or a published study a higher status, DOIs are assigned to provide a persistent link to its location on the internet. See here for more info: http://www.apastyle.org/learn/faqs/what-is-doi.aspx
4. No a Creative Commons Copyright does not give posters or published studies a higher status. A Creative Commons Copyright is just the means by which research is published as 'Open Access' and means it can be viewed and re used (as long as it's properly cited) by anyone.
So, your poster does not count as, nor does it have equal status as, a published study. Therefore I will move this topic from "Published Studies" to "Medical Topics".

Moved topic from "Published Studies" to "Medical Topics" for reasons mentioned in the previous post.

Yes, the content of such material is certainly less important than getting it in the correct forum. I salute your values.
