Henry:
Carina: The patient told me that she was negative for an IgG Western blot by both the CDC and IGenex criteria, and that she had symptoms of more than 2 years duration.
Why do you talk about only one patient? Isn't this test supposed to be used for other people too?

People that maybe suffer from European Lyme instead? People travel, you know!

Carina: It is not possible for a person to be IgG Western blot negative, after being infected with Borrelia for 2 years, and still be culture positive. That doesn't make sense. Obviously what is being cultured by this new test must not be Borrelia. I wonder what it really is .............

Henry, you talk about one single person!

I am not a physician (just like you, Henry), and no info is given if this person have an immune deficiency.

Or if this person is infected with European Lyme?

You try to use this single person as an example for that this test will not work for anyone!

Carina: Well, that's the whole POINT!! The company provides NO INFORMATION or assurances that this is in fact a valid test for culturing Borrelia burgdoferi from this patient or anyone else who suspects that they have Lyme disease, chronic or otherwise. Only a fool would pay $550 to have such a test done with so little knowledge about it and its capabilities -- especially when it involves their health and well-being. And the test is endorsed by the illustrious and esteemed Dr. Joseph Burrascano, the guru of all LLMDs? What does that say about him and his integrity? Is he to be trusted? Not by me!!
