"When did you contract Lyme disease, and how did it affect you?
[It happened] in 2010, after I had my second child.
When I went back to training, I just wasn’t feeling the same. I was able to get through my workouts, but I wasn’t recovering. I was really, really fatigued. I was having trouble sleeping, almost to the point of hallucinating. I was struggling.
The team was going on a trip to China, and I needed to get some blood work done before I went. The doctor called me when I was in China and said the Lyme factor came up [in the tests]."
