I don't know how I missed this. Thanks for posting, dlf.

"The overarching goals of the NIAID Lyme Disease Research Program are to develop better means of diagnosing, treating, and preventing this disease."

Ok, what developmental studies are underway for better diagnosing late stage disseminated Lyme, in particular late stage cardiac Lyme, and late stage disseminated neuro-Lyme?

What research is being done on treating late stage Lyme? Chronic Lyme? PTLDS?

I was also curious about your questions. I haven't looked at the posted NIH funded diagnostic studys, but here are what I found on the clinical trials site. This also includes some on early neuroborreliosis. I loosely figure that at least these patients would have disseminated Lyme disease. There are also a few non-specific studies that include testing of Lyme which might be associated with outcome factors.

This is a mixed bag of "completed" studies, (most of those have no results or publications listed), studies that are currently recruiting and studies that have not yet begun to recruit. Some make you want to laugh, some want to make you cry and others may just make your blood boil.

Cool! Thank you for tracking those down!

This one jumped out at me (in a sublime, Buddhist sort of way):

"Meditation And Stretching For Post Treatment Lyme Disease Syndrome" :?

It jumped out at me too, but not in a sublime way. We need bread, he offers us a stone.
