Wow, Spanky, you will never fail to point out any error. English is not my primary language.
No, you misunderstood what I meant.

I meant that I would be embarrassed to have written any of that...all of that.
What about the rest of my post? Any comments?
Not really.

I am well aware that this is not a courtroom (thanks) but I would suggest that it isn't supposed to be a popularity contest, either.

And the rules are there for the protection of all and it's always a good idea to be very specifc when you charge someone with any offense...in any setting. And there are published forum rules here. And those need to be followed for the protection of all.

And you need to allow the person to explain. You have to allow them an opportunity to present their side.

That's just common sense.

Oh...and the expression "how in the hell?"...is hardly considered to be rude or offensive...at least where I come from...except by those with extremely and unusually delicate and tender sensibilities. Just an expression to emphasize the bewilderment there, that I am feeling.

So...you may want to consider that English is NOT your primary language... and take that into consideration before offering an opinion about how "rude" that is...or is not.

Then, it seems like on this board are mostly only those with tender and delicate sensibilities, because I am not the only one who says that your posts, with words like in the hell, s**t, stupid, dumb, idiotic, moronic, and others, are rude. Not to mention obsessiveness that accompany your thought expression (how many posts for the last week did you write? Already one hundred or not yet?). It's never you who is wrong, Spanky! It's them! (with tender and delicate sensibilities).

Bagge - if you want to be objective don't forget mentioning those, who were harmed (misdiagnosed, not treated, under-treated, or falsely informed) by the ID specialsts, as this is rather large gruop of people. Any harm being done to patients should be criticized, doesn't metter if it comes from ID specialists or LLMDs.

Tosho:

Unless you are saying that I called people here those names, and for that, you need to provide specific examples...I guess that I would have to agree with you.

Yes, you do, indeed, seem to be of an unusually delicate sensibility in regard to the use of some words.

People around here simply don't object to saying "how in the hell".

I'm glad that monitoring my posting activities gives you something to do. Perhaps I wouldn't post so much if you didn't post things to me so that I have to reply.

That must be...well, I don't know what.

But lately, I have been a bit under fire and I am responding as I have a right to do.

I recall RitaA saying how this is "not a popularity contest" And radicale saying that "what people think of me on the internet is irrelevant".

I agree with both statements.

And further, as long as I am complying with forum rules...how I choose to express myself is NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS... and I'll thank you to keep your comments to yourself.

I hope everyone sees how ridiculous is what you say. For people with a normal sense of tact, constant using of above mentioned words is enough to consider it a rudness, even when used "only" indirectly. Moreover I don't see any other user on this forum who uses same arrogant rhetoric as you do.

Your responses to me is only a fraction of all your posts. And perhaps you wouldn't have to "snowball" discussions were you behave in a normal way.

Tosho...I hope people here will see, as I'm sure that they do...that you are clearly attacking me and not providing any examples of the behavior that you are pointing to.

Right now, you are providing a good example of how some posters on this board are 'rude' and probably get deservedly 'rude' responses in reply.

And then, apparently, whine about it.

Are you trying to help me by providing an example of how those with unpopular views are singled out and attacked?

I think there is a serious communication problem, because others and I we have already gave you examples of your annoying behavior. The problem is you don't consider these examples to be rude. Frequent usage of rude words, even indirectly, IS rude. Obsessively repeating your point of view in an arrogant lenghty manner IS rude. I have also received private messages from two frequent members of this board who agree with me, so as you see this is not only my opinion. I think taking a vacation will really serve you good.

Yesterday, a lot of people read what you said that you "haven't done" in this forum Spanky.

Right now it is: 8 registered, 2 hidden and 38 guests

Tosho:

Either provide specific examples of this behavior or be quiet.

You are the one who is being rude, now. Apparently, you can't find any examples to support your criticisms or you would have done so by now.

I don't feel any obligation to respond to what anyone that is PM'ing you thinks. It's not a popularity contest.

And there is a specific admonition in the forum rules not to play "backseat moderator"...which you are clearly doing.

You just continue with your arrogant style, it would be surprising if you change your tone. I am not playing any "backseat moderator", so would like to ask you not to say so. What I just wanted to say is that other people have the same observations about you. That's all.
I don't know - maybe you have trouble accepting what I said earlier what is considered to be rude.
But I guess you will continue to explain things the way you usually do, so any further discussion is pointless, good luck.
