Yes, I guess that's part of it. Free-floating anger. Looks to me like they are cutting off their noses to spite their faces. (Are there European equivalents for that phrase?)
It's funny how authoritarians can think of themselves as rebels.
And how they can think that by directly voting for a creator of sleazy corporations, they are somehow voting against sleazy corporations' power over the American government. Makes no sense at all, to me.

Interesting debate last night between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders in Flint, Michigan. It was a substantive debate between two experienced well-informed candidates.

A lot of people want that to change, and a lot of people have concerns that they feel are not addressed by the establishment. I think that explains the popularity of Sanders and Trump.
